Here’s what I learn starting SMMA for 1 week.
Here is a little story of what I learned about starting a real business.
Even if you’re a teenager, or young 20s, or 40s, everyone is making money online.
You might think it’s going ridiculous of doing your 9 to 5 jobs.
But how on the earth are people doing that?
Here’s a little story that everyone should listen to.
Iman Gadhzi. 22 years old millionaire and his net worth are over 20 million dollars. Absolutely he is a Real Man.
By the way, how he made this giant money?
His first business was SMMA. Social Media Marketing Agency.
So, I decide to do this business model for 1 week, and what I learn from this.
Enjoy my little journey.
By the way, there are some giveaways in this article, so I hope you read it till the end.
What is SMMA?
SMMA (Social Media Marketing Agency). Well, if I going to summarize easier, it’s actually simpler.
Providing service to your client and getting money. Your service can be anything.
E-mail marketing
Content creation
Social Media Management
SEO
Webdesign
TikTok ads
All you name it.
Provide the service to your client and get your money. It’s simple.
Also, you can outsource this service on Upwork, Fiverr, or even other platforms.
The most important thing is
“How to get my clients?”
Outreach, Outreach, Outreach.
Important things about SMMA are not making fancy websites, and not showing to your friends that you’re going to start a business.
It is outreach.
It means nothing if you don’t get any clients. You can’t deliver your service and you can’t make money.
So how to outreach to potential clients?
There are many ways to outreach potential clients.
Instagram DM, cold e-mail, cold call, etc.
I am doing Instagram DM and cold e-mails because I like writing and I thought it is easy to do.
What service am I doing?
Before I’m talking about this, I’m going to show my background.
Non-native English Speaker. (I was living in the US since I was 2 years old, so my accent is good, but I came back to Japan when I was 9 so my vocabulary is terrible.)
Have a laptop.
Broke. ($2,000 debt)
This was my background 8 months ago.
Now
A little bit confident about my English. (Because I’m studying)
Have a laptop.
Broke.
Going back to the story, I need to talk about what service I’m going to choose.
My service is
Short-form content creation.
The reason is simple.
Growing market.
Available to offer them monthly.
Easy to outsource.
So what I have done this week was
Setting up my website.
Make an IG account and business e-mail.
Do outreach every day.
I’m now in the start-up phase so I’m figuring out my own guidebook.
FAQ
How much cost to start up your SMMA?
Well, it cost only under $30 to start my SMMA.
Website host $9.95/month
Website domain $15
Business email $0.99/month
I use Hostinger to set up all these websites and emails.
What is the most important part of SMMA?
It is absolutely outreach. This is my phase now. Get clients. Make an action and analyze your record.
I think this is the most difficult part because I’m really struggling with this part.
How I’m going to break this obstacle?
My strategy is to make a personal brand with my agency.
But how?
Fortunately, my service is short-form content creation, so I’m going to build up an IG page and my Tiktok. By the way, this is faceless so you can copy my strategy.
I can build up my audience and show my social proof to my potential client.
In addition, I can level up my video editing skills.
So, what’s next?
Action, Action, and Action.
The method is simple, but 99% of people don’t take the first step.
Why?
Because you need patience, consistency, and discipline.
So, this is my little giveaway.
Notion Habit tracker.
This is a notion template that helps you to make good habits by tracking your habit, summarizing your week, and recording monthly.
I believe good habits help your business and build up patience, consistency, and discipline.
Because 8 months ago, I couldn’t speak English.
It’s free.
